🏕️ What kind of event is Starwood?
Starwood is a nonprofit transformational festival hosted by Rosencomet Project. It’s a 7-day camping event in the woods, featuring music, workshops, rituals, community, and creative expression. It’s a blend of alternative spirituality, learning, and celebration where connection and transformation take center stage.
🛏️ Do you offer hotels or cabins?
No — Starwood is a camping event. Accommodations include:
• Tent camping (included with general admission)
• RV camping – Reinforced pads available by purchasing an RV permit as an add-on with your ticket
• Limited car/pop-up/van camping – Also available as a ticket add-on for purchase
👕 Is it clothing-optional? Will everyone be naked?
Yes — Starwood is a clothing-optional event. No, not everyone is naked, but you will see some people who are partially or fully skyclad. Most attendees wear clothes or costumes.
🚐 Can I bring my RV?
Yes. Limited RV passes are available as a ticket add-on, based on vehicle size. No electrical hookup, no graywater dumping. Placement is coordinated by Karen Curtis-Schubert (RP RV Coordinator) and Wisteria staff. RVs must arrive between 10:00 AM and sundown. No after-dark placement is allowed.
🌐 Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wi-Fi can be purchased as an add-on with your ticket, or separately at the gate.
🚿 Are there showers?
Yes! There’s an indoor shower house and outdoor showers located throughout the campground.
🏪 Is there a grocery store nearby? What if I forget essentials?
• The nearest town is Athens, OH, with full grocery access.
• A small camp store at Wisteria has basic supplies (like toothpaste).
• Ice is available for purchase — check with Wisteria staff on-site.
🔥 Can I have a campfire?
Yes — but only in designated fire rings provided by Wisteria. You may not move them or build your own. Wisteria has firewood available for sale.
No campfires at all in the Pines area of camping (the quiet zone).
🔥 Can I spin fire at Starwood?
Yes — but only if:
1. You attend a Fire Safety Workshop with the Starwood Fire Goddesses at Fire Goddess Academy
2. Your props are checked and approved
3. You receive a yellow wristband
4. You spin only in designated areas
🚗 Can I camp by my car?
No, but you can camp in your car/minivan/van. Limited car camping is available as an add-on purchase with your ticket.
🍽️ Is food available on-site?
There are limited food options, including:
• Caffeina’s: morning coffee and meals
• 1–2 food trucks available with limited hours
Please bring your own food and water. Come prepared to be self-sufficient!
⚡ Is electricity available?
There are no individual electric sites.
However, there is a community charging station at Caffeina’s for phones and small electronics.
🧳 What kind of clothing and gear should I bring?
Be ready for all kinds of weather:
• Warm layers for cold nights
• Rain gear and waterproof footwear
• Light clothing for hot days
• Costumes, cloaks, or festival wear
• Flashlights, sturdy shoes, food, water, and any camping essentials

🐾 Can I bring my pet?
No pets are allowed.
Bringing a pet will result in removal without refund.
Lawful service animals are permitted with a special registration form from Wisteria and RP staff. Please inquire in advance.
🅿️ What’s the parking situation?
Each vehicle must have a parking pass:
• Green Pass = FREE/parking lot only
• Red Pass = car or RV camping (purchase rates based on vehicle size/type)
Key Parking Rules:
• No driving to showers, pond, or for wood
• Vehicles must stay parked after Tuesday unless leaving site
• Only Green Pass vehicles (parked in lot) may be used for commuting/grocery runs
• Red Pass vehicles MUST remain in place between 10AM Tuesday and Sunday morning.
• RVs must arrive between 10 AM and sundown
• Late RV arrivals must wait outside the gate until 10:00 AM for placement
• Repeat violations may result in removal

🚨 What if I need to report misconduct or safety issues?
All attendees agree to our code of conduct at ticket purchase.
If you witness or experience:
• Sexual misconduct
• Consent violations
• Safety concerns

🛍️ How do I vend at Starwood?
To vend (merchandise), you must:
• Purchase a vendor permit
• Also purchase a festival ticket
(Food vending must go through Wisteria Campground for Health Department reasons)

🚪 Gate Hours – When can I arrive?
Suggested arrival: 10:00 AM to sundown
• Pre-registered guests may check in outside those hours, but:
• You must wait at the top of the hill until 10:00 AM for RV placement
• Manual (cash) registration will be delayed until a Night Boss is available
• RVs will not be placed after dark
Plan for daytime arrival for the smoothest experience.
